Overview

Shendell & Pollock, P.L. associates represent real estate agents and brokers in a variety of litigation matters including professional liability claims, recovery of real estate commissions, and escrow deposits. In addition the firm has handled representation of real estate brokers before administrative bodies such as the Board of Realtors and the Florida Real Estate Commission. The firm's attorneys have also provided representation in a wide-variety of title insurance related disputes.

Claims related to title disputes include pursuit of quiet title actions, recovery of defalcations, coverage and third party claims, reformation, recession and other types of actions. The firm’s litigation team has access to extensive in-house resources derived from the firm’s real estate professionals, and, as a consequence, has the ability to evaluate, assess and formulate effective strategies for both pre-trial activities and trial. The firm has an in-house appellate department to the extent appellate issues arise.

Our Community Association Litigation Practice represents condominium and homeowners associations, as well as cooperative associations, commercial condominiums, and condominiums-hotels, in all aspects of litigation. We represent and advise condominium and homeowners associations concerning critical practice issues, including litigation and appeals, as well as defense of claims by and against members, guests and directors. We are fully versed and experienced in both developer turnover and conversion issues.
